I was looking at the 4035 HST then sat in the 5010 HST Cab. Mistake. I really liked the 4035.

Do I really want a cab. I only have 13 acres of hilly property without trees to maintain.

Weather can be a little screwy in Arkansas. Some summers are really hot, others not. Winters can be mild to just dang cold and windy.

I think you answered your own questions.Hot,cold, bugs, radio if you want...whats not to like with a cab.Buy it the first time and save yourself some money.

you'll spend more time wishing you had a cab...then you will wishing you didn't have a cab!

I have noticed a lot of people on this site say yes to a cab. Only you know the answer to that. I personally chose a canopy instead of a cab and yes it gets very hot here and humid. My reasoning I think stems from being on a horse or Harley and wanting to hear what is around me. Again just personal choice

If you are a recreational tractor user, like most here, you do not HAVE to tractor in inclement weather.

What's the price difference? The extra money spent on the cab now, will make the tractor worth that same extra amount 10 years from now if their cab is not problem prone.

Do you have allergies?

Do you like to mow when you get home from work and NOT have to take a shower to hit the rack?

Do you have wasps or killer bees?

Just make sure if you get one, to have your trees pruned up nicely.

Good luck.

Jeff is very correct and has a good point. He lives no more than 30 miles from me so he knows the weather we have. It gets brutal hot, and rain comes down in blankets with lighting everywhere, and because I only have 20 acres to maintain (tiny to most around here) and I work full time to make the mortgage, I don't have to be out in it. Because most of what I do is pasture, my tractor time is spring, winter, and fall. So I do avoid the summer weather.

Some of us don't live in Florida and have days when we have to do things because of the weather.:D

My wife said to get the cab. Clearly she is looking for something
