There is no assumption about what wealthy people like or not. Just saying they probably have a caretaker who stocks the fridge and has fresh flowers on the table when they arrive from wherever. Personal shoppers, landscapers, etc. Sure anyone with a boatload of money can still do whatever themselves, BUT most don't have the time to do so. And even if they did, in most cases can find something more valuable to do with their time. Wealth is a different ballgame than rich; those with wealth have the actual chopper, Lear jet, vs. just the pad to land it on.
Trucks, tractors, expensive cars are merely toys, who said anything about anyone liking them. So the guy did his own pavers, maybe in addition to being 'rich' he's also too cheap to pay high prices for certain things he figures he can get and do for less money.
Nothing wrong with being frugal; it's how some get to be rich.
BTW, shacks on Nantucket Island, MA, start at $10+ million, so an $11 million 43 acre place is not that big a deal in perspective to REAL overpriced real estate. :confused3:
