Draft Control

I couldnt ever get mine to respond while I was using a sub soiler. Called myself looking in the book and didnt see anything on it. I moved it all the way up...all the way down..nothing worked. I was having to lift it manually. Well I was putting the little plastic cover back on the pto and noticed a little metal flap that flips over and pretty much turns it off. Once I flipped it out I saw how it keeps it from working. Just maybe help someone else that may have wondered that it didnt work.

I heard the owners manual is handy for things like that. Glad you got it working.

Im having trouble with my three point lift jumping when I go to lift it up. Not sure whats going on.

Mine does this due to the draft control setting. All of the way forward/down on my draft control handle is the "deep" position and basically disables draft control. Try moving the draft control to both extremes and see if this impacts your 3PH issue.

Do you have the center top link in the lock position? It should always be in the lock position if not in use, as far as I have been informed.

Yes I do have a top link in the lock position. I was hoping that would fix the problem. I brought it back to the dealer and he said he put it on a 6' cutter and it did not do it as bad. He is getting a new XR4040 in tomorrow and he is going to put my box blade on it to so if is any different. Thanks
