The plate on the chassis sure says Mitsubishi. I've been pretty happy with it so far. Just got into the rainy season though so it's been parked for about a week :(

Never understood the big deal about bigger numbers on a smaller tractor but oh well. The new 1500 series has a good bit bigger foot print than the 16 series which will be missed.. hardly a compact anymore... either way they will still be a great competitor in the compact world and have a huge advantage having the T4 Mahindra engine in them.. congrats on the tractor you will enjoy it

Might need to take it in for service. Differential lock doesn't seem to stay locked. If I keep my foot on the pedal, it just pops up and down. Reading other threads, it sounds like something internal. Any thoughts on adjustment before I bother the dealer?

Other than that, things are going great with it.

Steve, do you mean you can feel the peddle pulsate up and down under your foot? Not spoused to do that. Be sure you are moving real slow or wheel is spinning real slow before you attempt to engage lock. Perhaps the peddle is not being pushed down far enough? My 3016 takes quite a bit of pressure to finally engage and would feel like it's pulsating if not pressed down with enough force.

Better yet, make sure that the wheels are stopped completely before pressing the pedal, as the manual says. :)

That's exactly what the manual states. "the tractor must be stopped". I've tried engaging the lock with the tires completely stopped. It never goes in for me. I find that if I slowly rotate the tire, it then engages.
