Rotary Cutter jd 5065e which cutter

Ok so I have narrowed it down to jd mx6 or
brown 416 both medium duty cutters both sold by my local dealer and both same price. I guess my biggest question is does anyone know if they have resolved the issued they were having with the mx6 about the shafts breaking etc. As this purchase would be for a new 2015 model either way I decide. But would love to hear thoughts on both I have heard nothing but good about the brown and both about the deere. Really like the looks of the deere I have not seen the brown in person but do know its specs look better on paper due to 7 gauge steel vs deere 10 gauge also I think brown has bigger hp rating on the gearbox. As far as my uses I am looking for a one size fits most application. thick grass to light brush. not trees. But overall a good cutter that will last/ easy to maintain etc. Thanks in advance

Ok I forgot not everyone lives in Georgia so I'll be more specific light brush to me is anything from Briar patches to small saplings to the occasional 3" pine sapling not a field full of trees by any means.

I would get the Brown if I were cutting saplings.

Brown is heavier built. What about parts support? I've got Howse and Bush Hog. Howse dealer is 1 hour away. I drive by the Bush Hog dealer everyday on my way to work. May not be an issue with a new cutter but when you keep older stuff and repair like me it is really nice to have a dealer that stocks wear parts on the shelf.

Sounds like i want go wrong with the brown and that's probably the route I will take but would still be interested to hear if Deere resolved previous issues with there mx6 series. Thanks for the replys
