1983 snapper rear engine riding mower solenoid

I need to know how to connect the wiring to a three pole starter solenoid.
I don't know the model number of the mower, it is no longer on the mower.

If you have 2 big poles and 1 small. Battery to eather big pole and other big pole goes to starter. Small wire from switch goes to the small pole. Sometimes there is a red small wire that goes on the big battery pole, it feeds the switch and dash. Solenoid well be grounded when you bolt it down.

I also have a little wire that goes to the starter that goes on one of the big poles.

I don't know what that could be for. Should be battery into solenoid and a wire out to starter. I can't see why you have another wire from starter to solenoid big pole, what would that do? The 3rd wire (small) just turns the solenoid off and on.

After more examination that other little wire is black and red, and doesn't go to the starter but up under the flywheel. Apparently part of the ignition, but it connects somewhere on the solenoid, too.
