My bags are reasonably stable, but it all depends on how well you load them. I'd love to hear how stable the bags are with straps are

I also use Dino bags they are pretty stable more than one would think. I dropped the front tire down in a hole from a full grown apply tree that came down in a storm. The top of the bag leaned over 1.5 foot past the edge of my pallet I thought it was a goner but it settled out. I then lifted it up after reaching the storage location and straightened it out. They do settle in transport mode good to recheck the straps after a few miles of Michigan potholes. I've had the straps go almost completely slack. And the bag doesn't move around.

Nice work OldPath. You made it look easy.
Sometimes it's so easy a cave man could do it, then sometimes with only 5 chokers to use, things can get tangled up, like cable on the wrong side of a tree.

Good video OldPath. You can tell that is not the first hitch you have pulled out of the woods.
I am wondering what you do you do with popple 2X6's. I have only seen it go into light duty pallets and casing.
I have/had a fair amount of poplar trees and a lot of it went into my garage last year, 2x6x14' studs+boards. Poplar logs saw different, sometimes when the board is being sawed, it lifts up, and sometimes it don't, then better to nail it green and nail it good, when it's dries it's quite strong. Not the best lumber, but if the log has been cut a year, the boards will stay flatter when sawed. I also used hemlock and pine.

("If you take the s off the "https" the video embed will work.") Not sure what you mean Garandman, my son records the video's and my daughter puts them on YouTube, then I have to scratch my head every time trying to remember what she showed me, how to post them, maybe I need more practice.

Well I spent to much money today on something I could have built very similar myself but just don't really have the time.

That thing's a tank. And I was just thinking the other day, while using my Wallenstein with the removable 4-way wedge, that it would be nice to be able to just lift and lower it according to the round I was splitting. Great feature. I'd like to see a video of that splitter in use.

Does this count for wood? Two tractors (sort of ... the DT466 in the International is used in tractors :) )

Well technically it is wood. Nice looking LS and International. I could use an upgraded truck like that. The LS brand sure seems to be a solid brand.

Very happy with the LS. The International is my newest toy (she isn't really new ... 1982 so 33yrs old). Been hauling 8+ tons of stumps up a muddy hill with it no problem. The excavator couldn't load me with his CAT track loader last Saturday so I used the LS to move the ones I was able to lift. Now I have to put the metal stake sides back on the truck and spread some stone for my road.
