I've been moving some wood with my tractor...

These pulls were over 150' out of the woods, so it was REALLY nice to be able to throttle up the tractor a little, to get some decent winch speed, as the winch was just too sloooow at fast idle,

I'm pulling mostly firewood, but I'm getting some decent butt logs too,

Yes I am way up north. Cleaning up the stuff from that big storm last year finally have a tractor big enough to move it.

Still a load to do but too wet now will wait till summer.

That was a good storm alright. The photos below are from cleaning up after. It often seems to be that the trees in the wide-open spaces are left standing, and the ones that could wreck something are the first to fall.
