Loader lift arm ram on my 5010 gear broke

I suspect they will take care of this, even though it is out of warranty. Meanwhile, any other folks with a ML150 loader ought to check for cracks. First sign will be a small crack in the paint at the bend.

In the last picture on the right it looks as if you have a badly worn hydraulic hose.

Just dirty, although one was pinched between the frame and stuck in the crack. Just a little abraded though.

From what I can see, this is a serious example of under design. If MH ante ups the parts you can reinforce them based on your experience before they go into service. ... It may be that sharp edges where left in hi stress areas, making them prone to cracking. In that case the strategic removal of a very small amt of metal by blending those edges with a flapwheel will increase durability w/o welding in braces. MIGHT be enuf. :confused3:

On the open station, the ML150 was changed to a ML151. The ML151 was braced better. On the cabs, the ML155 was changed to the ML156, again with better bracing. All replacement mounts have the better bracing.

Sounds like they learned there was an issue that needed addressed and did so. Hopefully they will help OP get back in operation with a good/cost-effective solution.

I have been talking with a guy at MUSA. Unfortunately they are in Huston and probably have bigger worries than my busted tractor. Called today and got his voice mail. Trying to be patient, but it is drying out here and I have a big chunk of red iron that is just sitting....doing nothing but keeping the weeds down underneath it
