What MtnViewRanch said, after using so-so box scrapers most of my life, I bought TnT and a heavy 1100 pound scraper with hydraulic rippers. On hills, I've found additional weight in the form of extra wheel weights are really nice, I just added them last year. Did you have them add bucket hooks? I've also added an expanded metal grill guard.

I use one of these to clean my screens and am going to fab one with holes in the sides to fit better between the radiator and condenser.

Enjoy your new machine and equipment.

Yes, they are adding extra bucket hooks.
(They threw those in for "free". )

I also just called them and added a set of forklift forks.

What do you use to clean the screens?

I would bump up to the GS25 series.

I would, but they don't make a 72" in the GS25 series. That is wide as I wanna go with as many trees as there are to negotiate.

Forks are really handy even with a grapple.

Which grapple did you get?

For interim clean outs, I use a Stihl gas leaf blower, when I get home I use my air compressor and Milton extension.

The 15 series seems light for your tractor is all. There are other manufacturers of this type implement.

Good luck.

The plastic steering wheel escutcheon, which covers nut securing the steering wheel, is notorious for popping out, then running into the woods.

Be smarter than me, secure it with a generous application of adhesive, BEFORE you loose it.

You will be $24 closer to financial security.

The Position Control stop fitting (silver) is held by a plastic-headed screw outside of the lever, in it own slot. In theory, this is a friction lock. I had difficulty getting it tight enough by hand, so I removed the lock washer from under the screw head. There is also a flat washer, below the lock washer.

The screw is pretty long. If you remove either washer, the screw bottoms against the tractor fender, so you cannot make the 'stop' fitting hold.

I put the lock washer back and now tighten the plastic headed screw with a 8" Crescent (brand) pliers, which are so handy I keep them in my tractor mounted tool box all the time. The pliers do not mar the plastic screw head.

The friction stop for the Position Control is NOT an inspired design.

I will conjure up something better.

Jeff, go to your local hardware store and look for a bolt that has either a wing not head or a plastic knob head. These things are usually in the stacked plastic drawers above the bolt bins. You probably will need to cut to length, but I'm sure that it would end up working well.

Selection complicated slightly by metric threads on the Kubota.

I am considering an Allen Head metric screw. The female threaded end of the (poorly designed) fitting has plenty of meat.

My experience with slopes is assuming you don't have a high center of gravity in your loader, your own butt will be uncomfortable with the slope before your tractor is tippy.

Had it a couple weeks and have put 36 hours on the clock already. Love it. That grapple is awesome.
