DIY Toothbar Yanmar 1610d

Hello,

I have made a tooth bar using steel. I had it laser cut for ease and then welded it up on the bucket to ensure it fitted.

Nothing difficult and it is rough and ready but it will do the job.

Welded some hooks onto the front at the same time.

I'm sure you've seen the same design before and it's just a variation on the theme.

Does the job.

It was ｣60 for the steel and laser cutting of one large toothbar, 2 side brackets, 2 spacer pieces and 9 wedge brackets that are along the bucket lip.

That is for 10mm steel.

Once welded up it was ground down to a sharper edge on the teeth and now it just needs a paint and a test.

The soil is very hard clay here so my little tractor needs a bit of help breaking it up.

Ha, I did not notice you were in the UK. I am in the US but in the manufacturing business as a supplier. I might know someone that can cut the steel for me. I can do the rest. Neat idea. I'm a do it yourself guy too. This is a cool project.
