i have a bush hog brand zero turn couple years old and never had an issue mow 3 acres every week
I wouldn't buy anything from the big box stores, they just aren't the same machines you find at the dealers, and when something goes wrong, they are no help.
I agree, if you can find a used commercial model that isn't worn out you will have a better machine to attack that much grass.

How about you answer the OP - Best ZT for $3k - instead of bashing other responses to the threads....
I don't have a Raptor - and most likely never will own a ZT - but the Raptor is available under $3k - which is what the OP requested.

The OP wants to mow 4 acres with a low end residential $3000 mower and several of us (including myself) feel he should be looking at a better quality mower if he wants it to last long.PVHIII
