Knapper on the Kioti forum has a 4 in 1 bucket on both his Kioti NX6010 and his John Deere 4720.

Haven't used one on a smaller tractor, but they are great on skip loaders. I've used them for picking up rocks, dirt, pulling stamps and bushes, stuff I couldn't do with a regular bucket. However, more information is needed to know whether or not it is a wise investment, if that is what you are asking.

I used one on an old payloader (Hough H-70) many years ago. It was very effective for ripping out trees. I would open the bucket up and put it flat against the tree. Then I would tilt it down, snapping off the top. Next, I lowered the bucket down to the stump, close to grip it, then lift and rip out the whole works, roots and all. The closed cab with metal mesh over the glass was a necessity there, and trees up to a foot or so diameter were no problem at all. The 4-1 was also nice for cleanup work and I got to where I could leave less than a shovel full of material (dirt, rocks, etc,) by clamping the bucket for the last load. Opened up and flat against the ground, the 4-1 bucket made a nice box for back-dragging and leveling. I don't think one would be really effective on a CUT, but on a larger cabbed tractor it would work ok.

Easiest to me would be to hire a Dozer man to clear it.
Cheapest to me would be buy a used Dozer and clear it yourself. Then resell for probably close to what you have in it.

Doing it yourself with your tractor will take a long long time. More than likely you'll have a bunch in repairs too.

My rotary cutter would make all that vanish in no time. Buy a Woods BB720X.

The problem with a 4-in-1 bucket on a CUT like the MX you have is that you're not gonna be able to close the bucket on them and pull them up if they are of any size at all unless they have a very shallow weak root structure. Notice that wolc123 said he did that with a payloader, which is a bird of a different feather.

And the problem with using a brush hog to do it is that you're going to leave all those little trunks sticking up about 2 - 4" above the ground. While a brush hog with dull blades will pulverize them enough that they don't become punji sticks that will stick through a tire, you'll be tripping over them every time you walk through the area.

If it was me, I'd rent an excavator or I'd hire a dozer to clear it.

We have a prairie restoration project in progress. To prepare the land we hired a bulldozer guy four years ago to remove more than hundred scattered large trees and bunch of small trees from about 30 acres. He showed up with D5 CAT with 5 way blade and it took him about 9 hours to do the job. All trees removed, pushed on piles and holes smoothed out. Paid $1000. He didn't charge us for transportation because they were doing terracing and pond near by.

Unless the job you need to do is small it could be fun to do with your tractor. Otherwise I would hire a bulldozer with a skilled operator or guy with FECON land clearing machine.
