Take a good look gents... This is the best it's ever gonna look. Once I take it to the land for the first time I'm sure it will have west Texas pin striping (mesquite scrub) down the sides and I'll spill my coffee inside it for sure....

I used to be totally obsessed over my vehicles but not so much any more... Life's too short.

Nice looking truck. I second the B&W turnover hitches. I have one on each of my 2500HDs. I had the dealer swap out the mirrors on my wife's 08 for the factory extending mirrors when we bought it. Was not cheap but made her happy.

I have on of the rare EB's with both Maxtow and HD payload. Virtually the only way to get one is to order it. It's a good compromise between a 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton. Curb weight (scaled) is over 6000# so it's no light weight. The 2592# payload is close to some not so old 3/4 tons and the rear axle is rated at 4800#. It pulls my 8000# RV trailer nicely.

Yeah, max tow max pay the only way I could get by. Mind asking what you paid before TTL?

I bought it in January of '13. Sticker was $40,850 including destination with the HD Payload option being $1650 of that. After rebates, incentives and dealing it was $32,487 without TTL.

I'm a contractor so I dealt with fleet sales.

So far so good. Almost 3K miles. About 500 towing a light trailer with 1.4k # rotary cutter.

Nice to plop it on front of trailer and not worry about tonge weight. 3/4 ton likes the weight and didn't feel it.

Love the interior of new Silverado. Quiet and comfortable. Integrated brake controller is clean and easy to use. Doesn't have the boost like my prodigy but ok.

Love the backup camera and shot of the receiver hitch. Hook up trailer 1st try easy.

Dealer owes me 4 oil changes and I like to do the 1st one early so took it in at 1.2k miles.

Sold my '99 Silverado 1/2 ton with 234k miles in 3 days, full asking price of $4.5k. Very happy with that, dealer offered $1.5k.

Looking at gooseneck trailers and hitches now so I can see how it tows 13-14k lbs.
