Maxxis M8008 trailer tire??

Time for new trailer tires.Looking real hard at buying Maxxis M8008 ST 235/80/r16 load range E for my 20 ft PJ trailer 14,000 lbs.Any input from anyone who has run this tire on your trailers?The good bad & ugly?I only use my trailer about 8-10 times per year my max loads are 8,000-10,000 lbs.Local discount tire center quoted me $410 for all 4 tires mounted.Does that price sound fair?Thanks.

Sounds good to me. I got a quote on GreenBall that same size from Costco about a year ago and I think they were around $135 each mounted.

want some good reading go to woodalls rv forum and search st verses lt tires for your trailer . I run LT tires on my trailers with 16 inch rims , higher weight capacity , higher speed ratings . They say maxxis is a good tire , but its still speed limited to 65 mph maximum I believe .

Sounds good to me. Maxxis and Greenball are by far the best trailer tires.

Just make sure they are radials, the install metal high pressure valve stems, and insist they balance them.

The quote does include all of the above,Radials,metal HP stems and balance.

Bought the maxxis radials we will see how they hold up.
