LED workshop lighting - the saga continues

The conversion kits I used did require replacement of the tombstones on one side of the fixtures. I have since learned that there are LED bulbs available that do not require replacement of the tombstones. Although replacing the tombstones and cutting out the ballasts was no big deal, I would certainly go for the simplest solution if I was to do it again.

Well in another part of the shop I had two troffer style fixtures w/ 3@ 4' fluorescent bulbs (T12) per fixture and two ballasts per fixture that failed.

I bought 8 of the 4' LED bulbs (~$150) and they came with the replacement tombstones. This was excellent because two of the old tombstones had cracked. I've put 6 of the bulbs in the 2 fixtures. They are showing about 800 lumens at reading chair level, as bright as a well lit supermarket.
I wrote to Hyperikon and requested 4 more tombstones, which they are sending. I'll probably pull 2 LED bulbs out and use them elsewhere.
