Yup. Lots of things are different. :dance1:

I had 1 warranty issue. I had a loader tilt cylinder dripping oil when I first got my tractor.
Dealer ordered a seal kit, I took the cylinder off and took the cylinder only to the dealer. He installed the seal kit while I waited. 30 minutes later it was repaired and on my way home.
I've had my DK 35 for 14 years and 1950+ hours. The tractor has never been back to the dealer.
Its been great, no problems.

My only experience was with poor dealer set-up. Many errors. I didn't want him to fix his mistakes (after all, he couldn't do it right the 1st time) and Kioti fought me over having a closer dealer do it under Warranty. They initially maintained it wasn't a Warranty/machine problem, but a dealer problem. The regional manager was very difficult about this. After 2 weeks arguing they allowed it to be done by the better dealer.

I realize many will point out I should have bought it from the closer reputable dealer but at point of sale he wasn't as willing to deal as the other dealer. 20-20 hindsight I'd do things differently but I had no reason to expect poor performance from the dealer more interested in my business. All-in-all it was a miserable 2 months of ownership of my 1st tractor.

But I love my little Kioti and I think it's as good as my buddies L3010.

Apparently it's good to be orange (even if kioti did blatantly copy Kubota in an attempt to confuse consumers )

Since Kioti copied Kubota and Japan copies pretty much every successful endeavor by every other country in the world why WOULDN'T the South Koreans do the same to them? AND, Allis Chalmers was orange 'way before any Kubota ever turned a wheel......SO, what's your point  AND......I'm thinkin' that you are being missed over on the Kubota forums! :)

Wow! That hit a nerve. Bait taken. You are of course right and as far as I can tell Koyote makes a great tractor. Just no great dealers in my area. :punch:

Well I can't say they didn't copy Kubota, but that said, they did a danged good job. Both K brands are quality. Kioti competition will improve Kubota on future models I am convinced and prices will level out. Competition is good.
