Manual does not really give much info, just wondering if there are any tips/tricks/traps. Mine came off when I struck a hidden root in the grass and need to re-install it and/or replace if damaged. I've dropped decks on JDs, just never have done the same for a Kubota. Thanks in advance if anyone has any timesavers...ww

All you need to do is remove the spring that keeps tension on the belt. I do it every fall when i put the deck away for the winter, using a long screwdriver. Unless to need help removing the deck!?

Thanks for that tip--I'll give that one a shot. Good advice too about taking the tension off the belt during storage. In Georgia, we unfortunately have to mow nearly year round and not much time for storage. Thanks again for the tip and I'll try it out this afternoon.
