I have both,filled rear tires plus the wheel weights.We heat with wood pellets the skids are about 2,000 lbs each so the extra weight is nice.I also add my 1,000 lbs ballast box when unloading for safety reasons.Nice fit and nice looking. I'd rather have wheel weights than filled tires, but don't have either so far.....and apparently don't need either since I'm getting along fine as is.

If I remember correctly about 82lbs.per side.They fit R4,s also bought my set from Michigan Iron and equipment.I like the idea of wheel weights, my tractor is too light at the rear, and it's often too much trouble to go get a 3-pt weight. How much do those wheel weights weigh?
I'd like to see some pics of DIY weights attached like that. If I can find a 'sheet of 1+ inch steel I'll be "cutting washers"![]()
