I'm currently running a 2011 cummins, just curious what brand you are running and/or any suggestions. My plans currently is to get the EDGE CTS programmer and remove the DPF/muffler and install a FLO PRO. I'm not about the straight sound, just looking to gain on MPG and Pulling, not anoy the neighbors:laughing:

Look at the H&S programmers. You may have a hard time finding one that removes the DPF. I'm running H&S not deleted 120hp tune. The nice thing about the mini max I run is I can change power levels on the fly. I think you have an auto but just to let you know the power increased enough to slip the factory clutch in 5th and 6th gear. I replace the factory clutch with am aftermarket clutch to handle more power than I'll ever make and all has been good. My 2012 long bed 4x4 with a work body returns 20 on the highway and 16 or so in town.

I ran Bully Dogs in all my 6.0 PSD. Never had any problems.

Check out atp trucks. I bought from them on my duramax. I got EFI live, I pull the 7060 around with ease getting 9-10mpg (I think). You can tell the exactly what you want and they customize the tune for your needs. I also deleted everything, egr and dpf replaced with Flo pro muffler.

You haven't run into any issues not being deleted with the programmer?

My brother run his 6.0 in extreme mode a lot(don't know what programmer he had) but never heard him having any clutch issues and he pulled a 5th wheel a lot. Now he had a lot of other issues he has had to fix but that's a whole different story. His truck was pretty fast but I am not about the go fast,he is the drag racer in the family. Don't wont to run coal either, lol.

Yeah that's another reason I didn't delete. I don't want to roll coal. I think doing so doesn't make sense. No issues at all running programmed and not deleted. I have right at 90,000 miles and programmed it at 3,000 miles. The mini max I run also shows the pyro using the factory pyro gauge so you don't have to drill.
Along with being able to disable the TPMS, adjust tire size, turn off seatbelt chime and other features I don't recall.

I think the main thing I need to do is delete the DPF and EGR. Getting the regens gone from my lack of driving at highway speeds for so long or not dogging the crap out of it every time get in it.I don't see how making someone drive so fast so far to clean the DPF is better than just using the truck around ranch and not really seeing the highway but just when need too...
