Thanks. The only thing I can think of I might need are forks and I think I'll just look into bolt on forks if I find I need them. But I'm going to look at the 3510 also.

I got a woods quick hitch for the 3pt. on my 2510. I find it handy for changing implements by myself. I use a ETA 54inch box blade on mine with no problem. the box blade is by far my favorite attachment. amazed at what you can do with it.

I've tossed around the idea of getting forks for mine but if i do I'll probably just make a set for the limited use they would get. My big want is a grapple and 3rd function or diverter set up. I do a fair amount of fire wood cutting, brush moving, and trail clearing so the grapple would be more useful for me.

I also tossed around the idea of stepping up a size when i got my 2510. I really liked the extra weight, hp, lifting capacity, and the ssqa. But the physical size would've required me to revamp all my trails to make it fit. And so far, the 2510 has not disappointed me for what I've asked of it. I've had it since November 2014 and have 125hrs on it so far.

I had a ssqa adapter for my CK20/JL120 from a Canadian company ? Horst and I think ATI made one too.

If you expect to switch implements daily a quick attach is certainly nice but I find myself switching from grapple to bucket to forks etc only once or twice a month in practice. With infrequent changes just getting pin mount attachments and a spud wrench is perfectly practical. Change over with ssqa is maybe 3-5 minutes while pin mount would take only 10. And, you save the $500 for the adapter as well as a hundred pounds or so of net lift capacity.

3 to 5 minutes? Um...not for me... more like a minute or maybe two..to change unless you have to drive some distance between the implements. Or have I just gotten really good of getting in out of of the SSQA plate?:) The grapple hydraulic connections require maybe a minute more. I often switch several times a day.

I doubt it takes me more than 1 minute to change attachments. The snowplow may take 2 with the hydraulic hoses.
I can remove or install the loader in 3 to 5 minutes.

It would be interesting to time it, but I am thinking 1 minute or less if you really moved fast off and back on the tractor. The single lever helps a second or two. The most time is spent getting off and on the tractor and walking to the front.. I can disengage and hook back up to the next implement pretty darn quick. maybe if you change implements once a month instead of several times a day,,, maybe that explains it?:D I do remember about the 10 minutes to get the SSQA part pinned on my old Kubota, by me and the guy that delivered it. But that was the one and done time.. Never had to do that again!

I suppose we could have a timed Olympic trial (with style points of course) to determine which one of us is truly muy macho when mounting implements. :cool2: However, my point was more along the lines of "If you need to change FEL implements and do it on a daily basis then SSQA is certainly worthwhile. However, if you change less frequently then consider the cost plus shipping and associated hassle as well as weight of the adapter vs the extra few minutes it takes to knock a few pins out and back in." I think many folks who have never removed their standard bucket (pin mount) may believe it is a tough job. Not so. Just make sure you have an appropriate size spud wrench to line the holes up. I also would put a slight bevel on the end of the pins to help get them lined up. Spud wrench, beveled pins and a sledge/mallet will let you change out a bucket/grapple etc in just 5=10 minutes more than with a SSQA. It's just an option for anyone who wants to save weight or cash and doesn't change implements frequently. I've got SSQA but it gets used maybe ten times a season (grapple is mounted 80% of time) and saves me maybe 45-60 minutes over the course of a season. Is 60 minutes a year worth $500??? YMMV

I see your point, but some of us change front implements very frequently. Also I did not think of the spud wrench when trying to get the pins started...good idea, plus I don't own one.. SSQA for me for sure. I would never be without it again.

Well, I pulled the checkbook out today on a CK2510HST with FEL, BH and box blade. Seemed to be a lot of tractor for the money. Supposed to be delivered on next Tuesday. Sure appreciate all the comments I've gotten from here.

Congrats. I'm sure you'll enjoy the tractor. Ask if they could verify that the relief valve(s) are set at the right pressure. I wish I had, and would pay to ensure I'm getting all the power I should.

Also my dealer delivered it with the 3pt parts and drawbar unattached; he said they don't fit with the BH mounted. They do. My only complaint was dealer set-up and delivery. He dropped it on me and said "Read the manual" (I swear, exact words) gave me three manuals, got in his truck and drove off.

I'm sure your experience will be better.
