Now the other dealer is an hour plus south so it's not very convenient to go to them for service. .
Maybe it is just me, but an hour drive to get service is really not that bad if you consider that it likely takes half that time just to get loaded and properly chained down and ready to travel. My closest tractor dealer of any brand is at least 25 miles away. Considering that perhaps you never will need any service work done at the dealer (unless you don't do any service work yourself), I wouldn't even consider the distance to the dealer in the deal. GO for the best price if the dealer giving the price is stable and has a competent shop. Also consider if the selling dealer has a mobile service truck that he can come to you with for minor issues. That is a big plus that lots of dealer wont even consider.
