Agree completely! Ever time I needed to move a round bale I had to take cutter off of the NH or the grapple.

The XR handles round bales on 3 point or bale spear on FEL easily. Life is good!

You can't even see his bass pond behind the tractor garage!....but as far as the "privileged life" comment goes... I'm more inclined to call it "well-earned"... I don't think Rick ever sleeps!

New to forum. We recently had a skid steer forestry mower in to clear a couple of acres. We'll have him back as soon as he gets his machine fixed. In the meantime, need to seriously think about a tractor to manage the now-cleared land. Had originally looked at Mahindra over the last year or so, and recently started to look at LS (again). I've read all of the comments on LS XR4046HC and everyone seems pretty pleased with their machines. Any thoughts/insights on pricing for a lightly used 2014 XR4046HC with factory FEL and BH? I had originally wanted something with at least 50 PTO HP, but realistically, I think for what I need, this should be plenty.

Selling for $32K, has fewer than 50 hours. XR4046 shuttle shift, cab, FEL and backhoe - no other attachments or implements. It's a 2014. I saw a similar one (without a backhoe) sold at auction back in October '14 for $21K. I don't know that there is any other guide that would give me any idea of pricing other than MSRP.

I doubt you will find too many of those for sale used. I know when I looked for my tractor used there were only a few in the entire country!

I'd say $32K is probably fair. Backhoe is typically around $8K and it has a cab so it isn't too bad. I may be wrong but I think open station XR4046 with FEL was around $24K

Call up Billy Smith at Smith's Enterprise - Home (3hrs. from you) and see what new price would be.
