We have extreme drought conditions here, El Niño can't get much worse for us.
Lots of big uncontained forest fires burning in our province.
We have had many days with record high temperatures and extremely low water levels in the lakes and rivers.

We are getting the extreme heat and humidity now, that we never saw all summer.

On the bright side. If that meteor or comit hits, it won't matter.

I have never seen our snow pack this low ever. Our mountains Cascades and Olympics are at 9% of normal. It is strange to look at them and a bit scary. If we get more snow great. I personally don't think humans are as powerful as some think and I don't give much credence to all the weather/climate scientists. Global warming is just another term for some to get rich. Say hello to Al Gore. Okay I'm ducking for cover now.

I've lived here on the "dry side" of WA state for 33+ years. These are the driest conditions we've experienced in that time. I just don't know what to think guys. Whether its just natural climate change, or if our activities are contributing to this situation or what.

What I do know - this is the very worst wildfire season I've seen in my time here. Everybody out here in the boonies is just holding their breath and walking on pins & needles. I smell smoke, every day/night, from fires in this part of the state. I'm so plugged up - I honk like a duck when I try to talk.

This situation is not good.
