Wifey calls about 3:30 today and sez "I mowed the lawn today and we need better tires on that thing" OK, the little JD lawn tractor has factory turfs with 43 hours on them. Not the best tires in the world but they don't tear up the lawn either. She then advised that she made some rather deep holes on the ramp to the barn. Yep when I got home there were some good ones alright, about 9 inches deep I would reckon. Gravel was thrown up all over the top of the deck etc.
It is a pretty steep ramp and it is just gravel, but I have always gotten a little run at it, and went right up without much problem. We always go up it backward so the it is oriented right for the solar charging port on the back of the little tractor, and also it is just much easier to drive it out going forward. to miss the little wellhouse at the end of the ramp.
Anyway I fixed it in a couple of minutes with the Kioti, and actually I thought it was pretty funny. She said when she got stuck, she became a little peeved, and just shoved the hydro pedal to the floor and it was on its way to china pretty quickly. Sometimes I guess women just think a little differently. (some guys do too!
). Here is the results of her handiwork. The pix, doesn't really look that bad, it was a bit worse in person.
