Forecasters warn that "Godzilla El Nino" could hit U.S.

Ask ten different forecasters what will happen next year and every one of them will say something different. I'm convinced that it's like picking a card from the deck and whoever gets it right is the winner. They all want to be the winner, but to get air time and act important, they will all try to say something different because if one of them guesses right, they are the celebrity of the year.

OK I'll bite a little. I firmly believe in climate change. I do not believe it is influenced by human activity at all. The sun is what causes all climate changes good or bad. We just have to deal with it.

True, but with all the money going towards it, there is too much to lose if they admit that no amount of taxes and regulations will lower the planets temperature, especially since the cannot say what the perfect temperature is that we need to achieve.

I do hope this time the forecast is correct. I have not had a really good snow season since 2010. Last year really sucked.
So I pray for snow every winter.

One where you can't see weeds sticking up in the snow.

It's shaping up to be Godzilla vs. The Blob.

Over the past few years the Blob reportedly has been rerouting storms North or South of CA. It's still there and has spread out. Can El Nino knock it down? Summer's almost over. We'll find out soon enough.

1) Government Economist
2) Professional Baseball Player (A .300 batting average is considered good. In other words, you get a hit less than 1 out of 3 times you're at bat - but you're still good!)
3) Fortune Teller / Psychic / Card Reader (actually, this is just a guess on my part - I've never actually been to one but they always seem to be located in the seedier parts of town. If they're so smart, you'd think they'd make enough $$$$ to be in a better part of town :laughing
