Mowing CK20 HST speed/cruise control

So I am going to mow a friends field this coming weekend and decide that it would be nice to actually use the cruise/speed control on my tractor CK20 HST (it has not worked for the three years I have owned the tractor). I started messing with it last night and found the front pivot froze, so I fixed that now it appears that the spring (or one of them) at the back is not pulling as it should. I have attached the pictures I have from the manual and it appears that there are two springs (according top my parts list and MIE's list). Does anyone have a picture showing how these two springs should be installed?

The part numbers are T2360-32353 and T2360-32352

So - If you think the cruise control is going to work like your car your in for a big disappointment .

Actually I know based on the manual that it will NOT operate like my Trucks cruise, but it does what is suppose to do (after some adjustment).

The part numbers are T2360-32353 and T2360-32352

The 2 part numbers listed are for the same spring, just an updated part number. It is just a torsion spring, with the rotation arms oriented as shown in your picture. "Spring 2" is the spring that controls the cruise mechanism.

Thanks for the information, after I looked deeper into the manual I found that my issue was a matter of adjustment as the 'Lock Shoe' was not putting enough pressure on the 'Lock Arm'. When I engage the lever now it does hold the pedal down as it should.
