Opinion: Large land owner's vote carry more weight than small land owner?

I've come to my own conclusion that I work to get money to do the things I want to do when I'm not working. :laughing:
We live in an old house in and old neighborhood. It isn't the best neighborhood as far as property values and looks go, but its a friendly neighborhood, almost no crime, and taxes are dirt cheap. By living here, we are able to send our kids to very good schools, take some very nice vacations, and save a decent amount for our old age should we need it. Once the kids are gone, we may build a small retirement house on the 20 acres we own out in the country, or we may buy a townhouse. Not sure yet. But we've provided a good foundation for our kids, a warm home and good food, loving parents and family and that's about all that really counts in our book. :thumbsup:

I always said "My job is not my life, my job is how I afford my life".
I enjoyed my work because I chose to. That's something that is lost on a lot of our society today.
