Ok my manual says chg engine oil and filter,,,HST filter and hydraulic filter,,,,so what about the fluid ??

At my 50 hr service I changed the engine oil & filter, HST & HYD filters. I did not change the HYD fluid but just topped it off.

No...it just seems weird to chg the filter and NOT the oil...where do you guys get the filters ??

I use factory filters as why go without after spending 20k? Follow your manual and you can't go wrong.

what about the tranny fluid...Travellers fro TSC ?

I changed mine because I wanted to upgrade to synthetic oil - I used Amsoil.

It's very common to not change the hydraulic oil at the 50 hr service. It's not like engine oil where there is combustion making the oil dirty. It's just hydraulic fluid running hydraulics and the HST. That stuff can go 400-500 hours before it needs replacing.

I ordered my filters from the dealer direct shipped to me.
Topped off the hyd. fluid with Travellers Premium.

My dealer sold me the filters and a gallon of what he recommended to top it off,he said no need to change for a few hundred hours. The jug is in my shop, but don't remember what brand it is.

He advised me to stay with LS filters while under warranty anyway, to make sure I didn't have any questions raised by LS if I did have a problem.

I know there is some kind of magnussen law or something that says they can't make you, but I would rather keep on the safe side....
