My point is: I reposted my original query to the original thread that was populated by participants with direct, applied experience - and guess what... I received useful and informed replies.
Right up to the point that people without useful contribution decided to play the role of "helpful bureaucrat" and again intervened to say "hey, you should start this as a new thread so more people can participate"... Grrrr!
And once again the topical conversation came to a dead stop as 2 pages of administrative discussion overwhelmed the substantial content on that thread.
I'm pretty new to these forums, and I truly appreciate that participation is entirely voluntary - but the pattern already seems clear. You have too many self appointed parking cops wanting to tell people how to participate when no rules are being broken, and it sucks the oxygen away of topical communication. I appreciate that all contributions are intended to be helpful... I am making the suggestion, with respect, that unnecessary administrative suggestions from participants other than the OP or formal administrators can have the affect of obstructing conversation of substance
Thanks to all those who contribute actual knowledge and experience. It is truly appreciated.

All of the original participants get notified when ever a post is made in this split off thread.

I was not subscribed to the original thread, it was the title that caused me to read this thread, your thread

Most people on TBN click "Todays Posts" or " New Posts" and read the Titles and click what interests them.

Some posters get no replys.

I just checked the other thread, your posts are still there, but the pictures didn't upload.

Last post to the thread was 8-23.

You can go back there, upload the pictures and see what response you get. Also put the pictures on this one.

I mean, the superlative of asking questions, is expecting people to hold your hand. And when thats followed up by whats called "administrative arguments" i'm gone :)

Hey Renze,
That was my original point. It's the kind of discussion no one wants to participate in.
