Ford 1500/1979 service question

I recently purchased my first and probably my last tractor, a Ford 1500 1979 tractor...The hour meter is operating and reads 197 hrs...if this is true I got a good buy...
Doing all the service I can using a manual from a 1600 (different animal) I got everything up to snuff except....Behind the seat and on top of the PTO gear box is a service screw in port w a plastic cap over 1" diameter....I can feel no oil in the hole....what do I service it with and how much ???? :welcome: to TBN. First, no the hour meters on these turn over at 999.9 hours. Second, that is the transmission vent. No service required as long as You don't paint it. The manual you need covers the Shibaura/Ford 1100, 1200, 1300, 1500, 1700, & 1900 models.

I have the same 1979 Ford 1500. I'm trying to locate the transmission vent as I suspect it may be plugged. I don't have a screw under a plastic cap as Wildfelr describes.

Anyone know where the vent is on this machine?
