iRobot an others are working on robotic mowers. If they are like the Roomba you will have to set some limits on the boundaries but otherwise you can let 'er rip.If it would do automatic "indexing" to make passes side-by-side like a regular mower. Mow-turn 180 degrees-mow-turn 180 the other way-mow and so on, THAT would get my interest. Otherwise, standing out there controlling the mower by radio is like sitting out there riding the thing.
In fact it could be electric (the Roomba brings itself back to the charger for recharging) so it could mow your lawn overnight.
