I'm in KY and recently bought a garden tractor (Kubota G1900) from FL. Shipped through Fastenal for $200. Tractor had to be attached to pallet, covered with tarp, and fluids drained. Was delivered in one week. The local Fastenal store used their forklift to place the pallet on my trailer so it was pretty easy.
To get information on shipping through Fastenal, go to Third Party Logistics (3PL) on their website. Fill out a quote request (mine came back in one day) and schedule the pick up. The process was smooth for me. They don't have online tracking, but I received a couple of emails telling me where the shipment was (Atlanta, Indianapolis, etc.) and when it should be delivered.
Fastenal must have a strong customer service culture. Every time I interact with them I am impressed with their friendliness and responsiveness.
If I have another large or heavy item to ship I will definitely be using Fastenal.
