I know this should go without saying, but do make sure if you are doing the "slam the brakes" trick that the clutch pedal is also all the way to the floor when you do it.

We had an older but very low hour and very clean Kubota in the shop recently for a stuck clutch. We bumped it a few times and it was really stuck. We split it and were glad we did. The flywheel was deeply rusted and pitted. 135 hours if I recall correctly and the tractor was clean as a pin. Not sure how it go so very stuck. We have a dry climate, so we only see this a time or two a year. That and the fact that most folks do not park there tractor for months on end. Frequent use generally keeps this from happening.

Good luck, I hope you get it.

Youll want to take the mower off and get it in high range

Why wood the bush hog being hooked up matter? I had it in high range 4th gear with the hog hooked up. I was flying down the hill. It's the only time I actually thought I might ort to have put my seat belt on!!

THANKS. Tried it today after work. Took 3 more tries and on the last one it broke free. Thank you to everyone who replied to my post. Will it hurt the pressure plate and throw out bearing to prop the clutch pedal down when not in use?

Good! With some wear the problem should go away if you run it a bit more often. Mine [7520] used to stick after a few days. No hint of sticking now even when it sits a couple weeks. ... Seems problem went away at about 200hrs. Tractor is nearing 1500hrs.

Nope, some brands/models have hooks to hold the pedal down. My brother's Kioti does.
