I just bought a Kubota 1120, will be delivered next Tuesday. Just wondered if anyone on here has one and if they like it. I was looking at 855 J.D. Gators but for less money I feel like I got a lot more machine.

I've had my x1100C since March. Unbelievable capability and it'll pull most anything! Just wish it would run at least 30 mph.

Yeah that's the only thing I don't like about them... Top speed is a little low. 28 mph is still pretty impressive for a hydro trans!

Just received my 1120D this past Wednesday. Another seamless purchase from Barlow's Equipment. I'm most impressed with the smooth stable ride. I've not had a chance to use it much yet as it's still at my workplace. Should bring it home next week when my new car-hauler is ready for me to pick up.

I did notice one thing that is just a little concerning, the back fenders seem misshaped. Has anyone else noticed this with theirs? If you look at them from the back the tail lights are not level, the edges of the fenders are somewhat warped too.

Is this the rtv that had independent rear suspension on it? If so how's the ride?

The RTV-X series do have independent rear suspension and the ride is great!

Well I got the 1120D delivered yesterday. I could not believe the price was so much cheaper over the Gator and I called the Kubota dealer last week to make sure this is a 2015 model. He assured me it was. After delivery yesterday my wife and I drove it around and decided to wash it. When I lifted the bed there was a sticker with the model number and also the build date which clearly read 2014. Didn't want to start out on a bad note with the dealer so I called the Kubota headquarters. They told me as long as it is a n X series it's the same as a 2015, that this is not like a car when they introduce the new models. Has anyone heard this before or should this matter, the machine is new without a mark on it and being 63 years old I don't see me selling it. I'm wondering if anyone on here has experienced this.

I would be concerned of the price difference between the two year models, being a 2014, it should have been significantly cheaper even if it is identical to the 2015.
After all, you always see price blowout's at the model year end.

I guess if there hasn't been any changes between 2014, the price is right and it hasn't spent its life out in the elements it shouldn't matter. I too have put my order in for a RTV-X 1120D (subject to field test at my place) just yesterday after a bit of procrastination the past few weeks. It will be a work vehicle around my property and replacing my 2014 Polaris Ranger Diesel which very disappointingly is just not up to the job here, (doesn't handle slow going in steep country basically) and the importers and dealer don't seem interested in helping me with it. Anyway I am sick of it, don't need the hassle, just had to cop the loss on it and try and get something better fit for purpose. The lack of low speed engine braking has also been a shortfall on the Polaris making me worry and reluctant to trust it in any inexperienced hands, family members etc. I assume they must perform OK in other environments and it seems a decent machine otherwise, should be fine just scooting around in flatter country with short steep climbs I guess. Anyway don't want to get into that too much.

Seems to be plenty of positive vibe and happy owners out there with the Kubota and I am hoping that the HST drive stands up a lot better and safer than the Polaris CVT belt setup which just seems to overheat with long hauls up or down hill being the main issue.
Top speed is not a priority for me, but working all day reliably around hills, gullies and rough terrain is, so I guess we will see on Monday how it performs. Looking forward to it and fingers crossed it will perform long term as promised.
Happy to hear from other owners and their experiences with their Kubotas.
