New taller tractor

Im gonna have to redo all my pro shafts aren't I?? They won't be long enough now correct?

You might be surprised that most of the implemempnts may still be a usable, safe fit even with the taller tractor. Mount each implement to the tractor and see how much overlap you have in matching the male and female shafts with the implement in the extreme lifted and lowered position. If there is plenty of overlap of the shafts in the lowered position and no binding in the upper position you are good to go.

I have never had to put on a new PTO shaft going from as little as 35 HP up to 70. Just check the shaft as Utopia Texas said and you should be good to go.

They are made mostly for people who add quick hitches. When I added the Pats Easy Change to mine, I had to get one to make up the extra 4" that it moved the attachment away from the PTO output shaft.

I went from a bx with very little ground clearance way up to a tall b must be at least a foot thinking might have issue

What kind of junk PTO shafts are they making now that you have to buy an extender for 4"? I know I'm not up to date on my equipment but all my PTO shafts have a good 24" of slide. Adding a quick hitch was no problem at all. ???


Added: The only time I could see a difference in height would be maybe if the 3-pt hitch is a different category. The 3-pt hitch move perpendicular to the ground and the output shaft is usually centered on that.
