Tractor no. 15 !! It will be Cat yellow and have TRACKS !

After selling 5 of my little tractors recently it was time to buy one, ha,ha. Last Sat. I dragged this old jd 140 tractor home. This has hydraulics so now I can build a disc or piece of tillage equipment and raise and lower it. I could also build a working three point hitch for it . If you need any help with tillage equipment and 3pt pictures or anything like that. I got stuff that i can get pics or can help with info

Todays picture shows the JD 140 project under way. I have the new larger tires mounted , the new fenders and headlights on. I got the new seat in place and I got the new exhaust stack and air cleaner stack in place. I have the radiator cap and fuel cap on. Now I am roughing in the front grill and front weight. The duel wheels will arrive later this week. This will be my last tractor project this year but I still hope to get one piece of tillage equipment built before the snow starts falling.

Todays progress on my JD 140 you can see the new duel wheels mounted . Also the front grill and front weight are painted. Now I am building the assemblies for the rear top mounted orange lights. Tomorrow I will tear down the carb and getting it running better. Then I have to pull the engine and replace a lower block gasket that is dripping oil. Hopefully it will all go good.

Things went great in the shop yesterday . I was able to rebuild the carb and getting it running great . Before it would only run on full choke. I also pulled the engine and I think I fixed the oil leak without splitting the block. My 4 year old grandson and my son in law will love driving these little tractors now with the duel wheels. It makes them feel more beefy. Next week I will line up all four tractors with duels and get some cool pictures to share. I also cleaned up the frame and painted it to look better.

Todays picture shows my new project I bought yesterday for $150.00 . No body cracks, no dents in the dump box and not even a single dent in the front bumper. It even has three brand new tires that were never used. The downside is this 2011 Gator TE sat under water for 24 hours in Lake Michigan . So all the electric drive components were ruined. Tomorrow I will get the Gator in the shop and remove the dump box and start the design to convert it to gas engine drive with a 18 hp twin engine and a hydrostatic transmission . Another Great Project !! Today were heading out to buy a 1811 Cub Cadet for a great low price. Fun !, Fun !

I was going to ask what model of JD tractor the Gator would be made into but have to ask how it made it into Lake Michigan instead.

NEW VIDEO - Deb just posted a new You-Tube Video today of me driving the JD 140 out of the workshop for the first time. Yesterday I brought home the 1811 Cub Cadet . That 18 hp twin cylinder Koehler runs so nice and smooth and the hydraulics work great and no leaks. This will make a great power system for the Gator. I already have the wiring stripped out of the Gator along with the rear axle. I will try to sell the extra 1811 parts on e-bay to recoop my cost of the Cub Cadet.
