Kioti DK40 3 point wont go up.

Greetings,
A friend has a less than 2 year old tractor. The 3 pint was working fine then we lowered it and it wouldnt go up again.Checked the hyd. fluid and added some as it was down slightly.
No luck.
It has a draft control but dont think thats the problem..
any ideas.

That does not sound particularly good. Is the draft control (they yellow handle) all the way forward and you are using the orange handle to raise the 3pt?
I am sure you are, but just checking.. So either a piece of debris in the valve, or seals in the cylinder? Just a guess.

Also make sure both (if equipped) of the rear remote valves are centered in neutral. Remember one of them comes with a detent standard from the factory. Joystick of FEL not in float position? For that matter is FEL operation correctly. If not could be stoppage in suction side of pump. Like filter clogged.

Thanks very much.I wlil pass this along. The remote valve part you describe was something I was thinking about..
Yes on the levers .I know he had the draft(yellow) all the way forward.
My thought is it should be something simple as its so new and low hours.
what would you think about the oil being low ? when he added some and got it to where it should be it still doesnt work.I wouldnt think it could be air pockets?

Check the draft dial below seat. Its the round dial. If its rotated too far in one direction, the 3 point wont lift

I had the same problem on my Bobcat CT-445 about a month ago, 1 year old, 120 hours. Took it in and there was a piece of debris inside the 3 point valve. No idea how it got there but it was just like you explained, worked one minute and wont go up the next.

Thanks everyone. This turned out to be one of those things that he is simple user error lol The Remotes lever was in between the two functions.Simple as that....My friend doesn't use the internet but is thankful for the problem solving here.
