Believe it or not you can get a lot of the antibiotics etc at pet store and tsc.
Insulin and high blood pressure pills might be harder.

Actually in NYS, you can buy insulin OTC without any prescription (rx), you just need the rx for needles, although, even then, most pharmacies will front you 10 a month without an rx.

Must be nice, I used to take alergy meds daily, 30 day supply. Walgreens auto refell never let me refill early..

That's why I switched to Allegra OTC, the generic is really cheap.

With all the flooding going on, this becomes even more obvious that we need a plan and the ability to be able to remain at our home for an extended period of time without the ability to go to the store. Some of those people will be isolated for weeks. There is no way to know how many roads are washed out, blocked by debris, and bridges destroyed. I'm sure power will be out for awhile too.

We just bought "American Medical Association Family Medical Guide, 4th Edition" for the place up north, with the idea that internet can do down and travel would be difficult. $5.61 used on eBay.

Bought the home version of the Merck manual years ago, for similar reasons. Even at New Today retail pricing, if you only use it once it is paid for many times over.

Wife works at a Pharmacy, and they won't sell needles if the buyer is acting sketchy.
