Is the dominant eye the one that is closed when object doesn 't move or the one that is open when the object doesn 't move ?

When it does move, your dominant eye is closed. (All that I can see with my strong eye closed is my left thumb.)

In my experiences the big box stores don't know squat about the bows they are selling let alone how to set them up properly.

It all depends on the store. When I was working for Dicks Sporting Goods (hunting dept) we had an awesome training put together by one of the Martins from Martins bows. Went through all the set up, and had us all set up and put bows together under their eyes to make sure we were doing it right. We had all hunters and bow shooters in our store so when a bow was set up it was set up right.
That being said, we have a bow shop near us run by a state champion bow shooter and I use him now that I do not know who is working at the store I worked at anymore.

I agree.. on the box stores.. it all depends on the actualy employee that sets up the bows. if the person knows what they are doing, you are in luck, if they don't know, but their job is in the archery section.. then they will be helping you by reading a flow chart, essentially.

Just saturday we took my wife's new bow to Dick's Sporting Goods in Orange Park Florida. The guy there was extremely helpful didn't try to sell us anything and all of the setup was free because we bought it online from Dick's. The only complaint I have isn't with dicks its with the vortex hunter extreme is that the only came modules come with it allow justement from 42 to 60 pounds but the A cam can be ordered to let it go down or like 30 pounds.

We don't ever answer the surveys that you get on your receipts but I think we'll answer this one and really give the guy who helped us some praise
