Value of a used Bush Hog Squealer SQ148

That seems like a really high price, seeing that you got a new Woods BB48X for less -- http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/attachments/347045-new-woods-bb48x.html. I can't tell from your photos -- does your cutter have a slip clutch?

Depending on condition, I'd say $400 - $500.

No slip clutch on mine. I wanted a shear pin type.

No more than $500, it's a used piece of equipment. You can get a new TSC 4' cutter for $850. While I think the Bush Hog is a better quality brand it's not worth it's weight in gold like some people think. My SQ172 has worked great, occasionally I have to tighten the stump jumper.

I realize that a 48" gets a slight premium on price since they're not in that great of a demand, but I just gave $200 for a used 60" squealer that looked like it may have been a year or so old, no rust, all labels and decals still in place, etc.

For a 48", I'd offer $400 and hold to that.

I gave it a little extra for the slip clutch although I prefer a shear bolt like is on mine.
