Harbor Freight Tools that don't suck

I looked at that HF trailer but finally went to Home Depot and bought a better quality similar trailer for about what the HF one would cost after building floor, sides, etc. Also this has 5.30 x 12 range C tires for better weight capacity. Tractor Supply is another source. I think a rigid frame is a lot better than the HF trailers that are bolted together from lightweight 4 ft sections.

4x8 trailers are a nice match for a Subaru. Photo of a short, cautious, but uneventful tow bringing home my latest Yanmar.

I built the folding version which is just a tad smaller. I don't think you'll have any trouble getting it into an Outback or Forester with middle seats folded. It comes in several boxes. Longest dimension as I recall was about four feet.
I've got the same trailer. The thing I like about it is that it folds and stands on end in my barn, out of the weather, only taking up about a 2x4 foot space. If you only need to move light things, it is a nice alternative to owning a pick up.

It does fold which is nice but you can kill yourself trying to fold or unfold it from vertical storage. Only safe with two people IMO.

I have the HF QH. After adding bushings and bracing some of the lower pins on some of my equipment it works great. The heaver the item is, the better. I have a light weight landscape rake that moves around a lot if not lined up just right. Still easier. Also had to do some trimming on one item around the top pin to clear the bolts on the HF hitch top hook. To me, well worth the one time modifications to make hook up easier/faster.

Bought a King Kutter box blade that was designed for a QH and it fits just as is.

Forgot to mention before, the lower holes where the HF QH mounts to the tractor lift arms are pretty thin. Probably less than 1/8". Heavy box blade work on a 47 HP tractor was beating the round holes to oval. I welded 1/4" thick, 2" X 2" squares on each side. So far those holes are still round.

I have a $100 Harbor Freight hoist mounted to the rafters in my barn. I just hook onto the trailer and lift it upright. This hoist is great for installing 3 point attachments as they just float in the air from the hoist.

I've been admiring that lift for lifting my snow thrower up where I store it and helping attach other implements but I wasn't sure if the track is included where it can slide on?

I paid $279 for the 1720lb trailer. Won't be adding sides but I'll spend for a sheet of plywood and some D rings. Still well under $400 and the HF and TSC trailers were substantially more: I was looking at $1,000 pretty quickly.

Mostly buying this to haul snowmobiles to the dealer for service. We have direct access to trails so I don't take them anywhere otherwise. I have a van but this is a lot easier.

If you want it to roll, you need to buy the track and trolley separate.

Thanks Trav but I couldn't find any track or trolley at HF.

You guys talking about these:
2 Ton Push Beam Trolley

I plan to have a system in my basement and pole barn with one of these. Like to make one of those beams that rolls the length of the barn and one of these trolley's so I can basically use chain hoist anywhere.

You have to get the I-Beam from a metal/steal distributor.
