Tl80 wont start after rain

Have a 2005 tl80 that will not start after a bad rain... The battery reads over 12 v and the horn honks and lights work but it will not crank. I don't get any of the normal warning lights when I put the key in so I think it might be water in some computer thing.. Any one else heard of this?

Check the connectors looking for leaking into the connector, check the grounds and the safety circuits.

The terminals are tight and not corroded and I looked at the electrical connections to the starter and couldn't really see anything I think I'm just gonna wait till it dries out and try it again

You generally have a series of switched between the key switch and the starter solenoid ( for example, a seat switch, a pto switch, a clutch or transmission switch, etc) these must be all be closed to close the circuit to the solenoid to actuate the starter motor. There is a chasis ground connection that connects the negative battery terminal to the chasis of the tractor to provide a system ground. these can loosen with time or corrode.
If any of the safety circuit switches are open OR thechasis ground is bad, the starter won't roll the engine over.

You can take a voltmeter to your safety switches, and check for continuity when they're made.
