Hi There

I have a new Kubota M7060 with two pairs of remote hydraulic valves. One set are double acting with detents and the other set is single or double depending on the setting.

I have a log splitter and a post driver, both have their own external hydraulic valve chests so that they can be controlled outside the tractor.
I want the tractor to pump oil all the time to this valve chest however the control lever for the double acting valves with detents in the tractor keeps resetting to the central position and turning off the flow. I can tie the lever in position and this works but I don't want to damage the tractor hydraulics.
Any ideas?

Thanks
Justin

Tying tractor control lever shouldn't harm hyd system as long as hyd oil stays below 200 degrees

Will it heat up with the lever tied?
Says in the manual not to as it forces oil through the relief valve

Tractor relief valve should stay seated with log splitter valve attached to rear breakaways and tractor scv lever tied open for flow. Oil should not get hot from normal splitter operation.

Some hyds valves have SA detent and others have a DA action detents which are pressure activated.

If your valve is kicking out of detent, then you have a pressure detent release valve, similar to the log splitter. .

When the pressure reaches the detent pressure setting, it will kick off.

You could maybe set the kickoff pressure higher that the log splitter valve kickoff.

Then again, the kickoff pressure could be fixed and not adjustable.

You might could use the flow before the remote valves. Interrupt the flow before the remote valve and install a set of QD's. Plug the log splitter into the pressure QD and run the log splitter OUT hose to tank.

You will lose your 3pt operation.
