A friend of mine swears by moth balls, it will keep mice and snakes away too. If you can handle the smell, LOL

We tried the moth ball thing when we had a double wide trailer on the lake. For us it did not work and the wife HATED the smell. Me on the other hand really didn't think it was that bad.

An exterminator once told me that the only way moth balls will work is to use enough so that you can't stand it. However, I put moth balls in the little storage compartment on my ATVs and it stopped the mice from building nests in and on them.

I put one box under the trailer and the wife could not stand it. Didn't seem to bother the mice at all.

IMO a strong pellet gun is too strong to shoot in buildings. A strong pellet gun could shoot through the insulation and sheet rock. I would much prefer a 22 LR loaded with rat shot. Any pellet gun capable of shooting over somewhere in the 1,100 FPS range will sonic crack which defeats the main point of a pellet gun.

Not shooting either in my house. Outside is another story.

He was in the process of procreating so I was able to get pretty close. I would have preferred to get the female (both really), but he had her covered up pretty good.

Nope not at all. A trailer house is almost impossible to seal up from mice. It was a never ending battle. I had to have a regular trap line set up of mouse traps.
I'll have to remember that the next time wife starts nagging. Mothballs,,, brilliant!

Well I ordered some conibear traps, a six pack of 110's one 220, a trap setter and a safety grip tool. Total cost $67.01. Estimated delivery date the 19th - the 24th.

Why order them? Fleet Farm has them... Gotta be one near bemidji...

I wish there was a Fleet Farm near Bemidji, closet one is the Brainard/Baxtor area, a two hour drive. I checked L&M Fleet, but they did not carry them.
