Ha ha Brucey Beaver, love the name. Start at the 4 minute mark and be patient for about a minute. You'll see the Typhoon cut a 10" to 12" tree.

Wow! Ok, so it will cut what I want. How much are replacement blades? Do you need to replace anything else? What is the Gpm, you are running it at in the video? Are they in stock?

If I may ask,

I have just one question in general interest regarding your inquiry;

You say you have a lot of land to clear, how much is a "lot"???

Have you even considered contacting a firm that is at all interested in wood chips
for hog fuel???

A tracked shearer and a forwarder will move huge amounts of material and a chipper will
make quick work of soft wood and hardwood trees.

A tracked or rubber tired shear will leave no stumps, and then you can dig them up and then
put them back in the hole DEEEP and then your done.

Evn leaving a small stump flush with the ground will allow suckers to grow especially
with the soft wood variety Box Elder.


You should subscribe to the Northern Logger for a year to find a land clearing company
that would come in and clear your "I have a lot of land to clear" job as they charge one
price per acre.

your going to have a huge issue with suckering and invasives like poison ivy if you not burn or bury the
stumps below ground(they will pop up from frost heaving).

100 acres!!! Is this heavily forested or are the trees kind of sparse? Hardwoods or softwoods? Maybe a picture of a typical area would help...kind of trees...how close together...

What not rent a dozer with a root rake? Or hire a land clearing company. We had give acres of large white pine selectively cut by a land clearing company. They cut the pines and selected hardwoods with a feller buncher, chipped most of them up for a biomass power plant, they sold any logs that came out. We didn't pay a dime for it. If we had more quality saw logs they would have Written us a check. Different situation than yours but you might be have ads orange it one from wth a land clearing co.

So I got the ETERRA Typhoon 60" Brush cutter, what a gem. Now looking for a Snow Pusher or Snow Blower any Ideas?

Dont waste your money on the current line of open auger hydraulic driven snow casters, I would contact joel at Earth Tools through the forum here and ask about the Berta two stage snow casterwith the solid cross augers as it will make snow removal a picnic.

Setting it up with a quick attach mount with the motor rotating the impeller and solid cross augers will let you work quickly without flooding the snow blower and slowing you to a crawl because the open auger type of snow caster also pushes all the snow forward as it advances.
