When I was 8 or 9 years old a burglar broke out a similar window to enter our house and rob us blind. All the others were alarmed because of a similar break in two years before. Just curious if you take any precautions?

a half cord of green maple weights 3000 lbs. better check the loader specs. I would say about 2000 is about the limit not to mention the danger of tipping the tractor with all that weight out front. I own a L4740 and it is unstable when raised high to load a truck with 1/4 of a cord. I have loaded tires and a logging winch on the back.

I like that idea using the window. I need to do something similar as my wood.coal furnace is in the basement as well. What kind of furnace do you have?

My kids would not agree with you at all

From the time they were 5 and 7 it was their job to push the wood thru the window over a little plywood ramp after I dumped it a wheel barrow at a time. We did hundreds of cords that way over the years.

A tractor and wood shed are life changing things !

Looks like a good job for a set of rear forks combined with TnT to leverage your tractors ability to get it done.

Proper ballast will fix that problem. My loader is probably not strong enough to lift it especially since my firewood is oak. My 3PH lifts 3,700 pounds, so rear forks should lift it.

I have a potential project here. This forklift mast would look real good sitting on my tractor's backhoe subframe.
