I was going to say use the wet weather to organize your shed and make room for more equipment. Then I looked at your photo and at my shop and... never mind.

Yes sir Kenny G. I had the feeling, and now I'm going to do something about it.... Maybe

Nice tractor. Looks brand new. You are going to love it. As with any machine, lubricate everything. If you can't get it out and use it, take the time to put dielectric grease in all the connectors and fluid film/lithium grease any exposed metal couplings. Squirt some fluid film in your key switch too. I also put moth balls under the hood in a perforated baggy to keep the mice out. Enjoy and be safe.

"I also put moth balls under the hood in a perforated baggy to keep the mice out".. I used to use moth balls, until a fellow told me to try "Mint" in liquid form.
He said to use a use a a small tin container, place cotton in it and pour the mint over and close it up, then punch a few small holes on the top. I tried it and to my
surprise it worked very well, just keep the cotton moist with more mint as needed. It sure smells a lot better than moth balls and works as good or better.
I found a chew tobacco tin woks well, you can place a magnet on the the tin and stick anywhere you want it, I also placed a few in my shop cabinets and no longer
have mice. I can't begin to say what it is the mice don't like, but whatever it is I like it..

Congrats you will be happy with the CK30. Just the right size not too big and not too small and a very strong worker. I bought mine new for Xmas 2013 and just love it. The loader is great and you will be amazed at what it can do. I have a front mount blower on mine which makes it enjoyable to blow snow with such power. All I can say to date is I am happy with it and no problems whatsoever. While you have it in the shop study it as much as you can and even practice taking the loader on/off for future if you ever want front mount implements. Good luck and let us know how you like it.

I'd change all the fluids (not the antifreeze) so I knew what their status was and use those hours as the starting point for future maint. Also grease everything and check all the bolts for tightness.

You'll love the machine.

Very nice looking tractor. I see you've got your ROPS at the 45 degree setting. I do that too as I would have to keep lowering it to get it in/out of the shed. You might get some opinion from he pack here that the mid setting isn't safe but I feel safe enough with it.
Congrats on the purchase! Grease it!! :)

I like that idea, but where do you get the mint? Chew tobacco tins with magnet in it also is clever.

Wife sometimes makes a tobacco "tea" and sprays it on her plants in the garden. Amazing how well it repels bugs, and without any ill effects on anything else. That way we wouldn't just have to throw away the chew either!

Walmart carries it, it;s called "Peppermint flavor" comes in a small glass container with green liquid peppermint inside. I had mice inside the trunk of a car that I don't use much, I put the peppermint in there and haven't seen a sign of them since. I also use the tins w/ magnet inside my tractor(s) battery compartments, where them buggers like to chew dashboard wires, seems to work

Fresh Cab #1 Botanical Rodent Repellant, 10 oz. - For Life Out Here

I use this from TSC in my motor home. Prior to this, I used everything I could think of from dryer sheets to moth balls, to traps and never had any success.

This stuff works !

It is balsam oil soaked in fine wood particles in what look like big tea bags. Place them where you need them, and no more mice. They work best in enclosed areas like campers., small buildings, closets, but under a tractor hood, in your stored cars/trucks would be fine. You need to replace them every cuppla months.

I love the smell when I open the door to my motorhome. Fresh balsam scent. As long as I smell it, I know there's no mice.

I've been using it for several years now, with no sign of mice. Previous to this, they tore the place up.

Try it.
