Just came in from the cold 25 outside temp. spent two hrs plus a trip to Lowes to pick up some more jelly jar style porch lights. Replaced the switch, light fixture and two new LED bulbs (Feit Electric LED 10 pack bulbs from Lowes) . Still did not work. Put in a old incandescent+ bulb and worked fine. Are the new LED's junk and to be avoided or do they not work in cold climates (Pacific Northwest). What are you folks experience with LED's. bjr

I have never had an LED bulb not work. I have only used Cree's. So when you put the bulb into a known good fixture inside how well do they work?

The LED bulbs on my pier worked all last winter. Coldest I remember we got was about 8-10F. They are $4 bulbs, Phillips brand if I remember right.
