Good Morning! 50F @ 6:00 AM. A steady rain this morning. Showers continuing this afternoon. High 51F. S winds shifting to N at 15 to 25 mph. Chance of rain 90%. Rainfall around a quarter of an inch.
"Steady rain" and only a quarter inch of accumulation? This storm is turning out to be all blow and no show. Sure is rattling the roof and windows right now.
Irv, hope that hand heals quickly. Same with your foot, Kev.
Finished one carb yesterday, got the other one cleaned and will finish it today. Spent a few hours rubbing runs off the big red tank, but didn't get to buffing. These short days sure make outside work hard to get to.
Covered the campfire wood pile with a couple of give away tarps from Harbor Freight just as the sun was going down last night. That after I finished loading enough wood for a nice fire. One of those pieces had a rider; one of the biggest fence lizards I've seen. Moving a bit slow due to the temperatures, but he wasted no time getting back to his pile when I lowered the wood close enough. Sure hope he appreciates his new roof!
